Our aim is to provide you with in-depth knowledge, many years of experience and high-quality materials. We guarantee you perfectly aesthetic and functional implants.

Dental implants are a complete denture solution which are usually made of titanium. Dental implants are replacement teeth that are surgically implanted into the jawbone. This then serves as the basis for the placement and attachment of single crowns or implant bridges of several teeth.

The bearing bone and gums are the crucial parameters for a successful treatment. They form the foundation of the tooth replacement solution. In some cases, a pretreatment of bone formation or bone graft is necessary. This becomes necessary when insufficient bone is present usually when a tooth has been missing for a long time and the jawbone is forming back slowly.

Dental implants help you get back, or even improve your beautiful smile and restores dental functionality in your everyday life.

Global Dental is your competent and reliable partner for your dental solutions. We are characterized by an individual, needs-based work philosophy and careful planning and execution.

Dental implant therapy becomes feasible when one or more teeth have to be, due to various circumstances, restored. Missing teeth can rapidly have an impact on your self-confidence and your everyday life. An implant helps you regain your quality of life.

In addition, a dental implant solution helps you to forget, possible discomfort and bruising, and time-consuming application of adhesives and cleaners for your conventional prostheses.

Oral implants are required for aesthetic and functional reasons.

If and when an implant is needed, must be always answered situationally. Oral implants are required for aestheticand functional reasons

Aesthetic reasons:

  • Filling teeth gaps for a beautiful smile
  • Bone grafts provide a scaffold into which new bone can be grown to the jawbone. This prevents bone loss thus retaining your face shape

Functional reasons:

  • Improve or even restore the chewing function
  • Ensures the preservation of a healthy jawbone
  • Improved oral hygiene over that obtained through a conventional bridge solution

For successful implant therapy, good oral hygiene is necessary, meaning one without bacterial infections of the gums.

If your jawbone is too low or wide, that can be compensated for by an additional bone augmentation.

With an implant, the neighbouring teeth do not have to be polished down like they do with a conventional bridge solution. Additionally, bone loss due to a bridge solution, is made completely avoidable. A bridge significantly reduces the bite force and chewing function which over time can lead to the aforementioned bone loss.

It is important to note that the dental implant is a surgical procedure.

Global Dental partners plan each implantation with maximum precision and care. The dental implant treatment is an absolute routine procedure with excellent results due to our many years of expertise.

Nevertheless, depending on the condition of the patient, the risk factors vary. Poor oral hygiene or wound healing complications due to pre-existing conditions can reduce the lifespan of an implant quite significantly.

Implants can only be set when the jawbone is fully grown. Therefore, especially for young patients it’s very important that the growth of the jawbone is completely finished. Usually, this is after turning 18.

An age limit doesn’t really exist after the bone is fully developed. The most important is the detailed consultation with your dentist.

A dental implant takes about 12-18 weeks from the first diagnosis and planning to the final restoration. A dental implant should be carefully planned.

The treatment plan for a dental implant provides the following steps:

  1. Diagnosis and decision

Each dental implant treatment is planned in and thoroughly discussed with you.

By using X-ray images and a 3D computed tomography (CBCT) our dentist creates a complete and detailed treatment plan. It is important to us that you understand exactly the various treatment steps.

In this phase we will indicate whether a bone augmentation or any periodontal pretreatments are necessary beforehand or not.

  1. Implantation

Our dentist creates a so-called ‘bed’ in the jawbone into which the implant is inserted. In some cases, a temporary restoration is placed on the implant, this means that during the transition phase you keep your natural smile.

  1. Healing Phase

After 1 week, the stitches will be removed. The time it takes for the implant to connect with the jaw bone (osseointegration) takes between 6 to 8 weeks. During this time of healing the implant achieves the stability of a natural tooth.

Good oral hygiene is essential to support the healing process during this phase.

We will of course give you detailed instructions on how to ensure perfect oral hygiene before during and after the procedure.

  1. Tooth manufacturing

While the implant connects to the bone, our dental laboratory partner works on the individual preparation of your new teeth. Therefore you will choose the tooth colour together with the dental technician.

  1. New teeth

Your new tooth is connected to the implant, and you can smile, bite and chew.

For a long-term success and stability, the follow-up and care of your implant is very important.

Dental implants needs, just like your natural teeth, regular checks-ups at our dentist and a good oral hygiene.Additionally, we recommend that you visit 1-2 times per year our dental hygienists for a professional dental cleaning.

During the treatment you will feel absolutely no pain. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. After anesthesia subsides, you may feel localised pressure which is absolutely normal. If this is the case, you can of course consult us.

Massive side effects and complications are extremely rare. However, the following indications are possible.

Swelling

For the swelling, the best is to immediately apply cooling pads to the treated area.

Pain

For the pain, we give you conventional painkillers that you can take in accordance with the instructions of our doctors.

Pulsating pain on the same day.

• Numbness at the site where the treatment was done.

• If the pain or swelling doesn’t subside several days after the procedure.

• Bleeding or loosening of the temporary tooth.

The restrictions are very moderate.

Immediately after the surgery, you should not drive any motor vehicle because of the effects of the anesthesia. Also you should avoid eating until the anesthetic has completely subsided. We recommend avoiding sports and physical activities for 2-3 days.

Until the stitches (approximately 7 days after intervention) are removed, you shouldn’t use a toothbrush in the area of the implant. Your Dentist will inform you about oral hygiene alternatives.

If possible, do not sleep on the same side as the implant.

Titanium is a biocompatible material. It’s non-toxic and is very well tolerated by the body. It connects well with the bone and has been used for decades in a wide variety of medical products. Due to its properties, titanium dental implants last for decades.

For perfect aesthetic solutions, Global Dental also offers oral implants made using ceramic materials. Due to the tooth-like color, they are used on very thin or retracted gums.

The initial cost will depend on how many implants are needed and whether any pre-treatments such as bone augmentations or periodontal treatments are necessary. Another factor is the cost of the dental laboratories which manufacture the crown which is placed on the implant pin. Global Dental will provide a detailed and non-binding cost estimate to you for each treatment.

Advantages of a dental implant

  • Complete aesthetic and functional denture solution
  • Proven quality and reliability
  • Enjoy your everyday life without discomfort or complications
  • Increased confidence thanks to your new smile

NobelGuide: more comfortable implantation

NobelGuide is currently the leading surgical navigation system and is used across the globe: Based on CT data – the detailed 3D image of the jaws – the implantation and the exact location of the implants are planned with a computer (CAD). The navigation drill-guide template made in Sweden is placed in the mouth. This leads our drills and the implants into the bone with an accuracy of 0.1 mm.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Bone replacement can often be avoided
  • Very quick; implants can be placed within half an hour
  • The surgery is performed without making any incision in the gum
  • There are no stitches, so no stitch removal
  • Few complaints of pain, swelling or bleeding afterwards
  • Immediate loading of the implants is easier

Using Teeth-in-an-Hour technology, the denture can be made in advance. This can only be used if the anatomical conditions are favourable.

All-on-4® treatment concept

A minimally invasive solution with a fixed full-arch restoration for patient satisfaction

What is the All-on-4® treatment concept?

The All-on-4® treatment concept is a cost-efficient, graftless solution that provides patients with a fixed full-arch prosthesis on the day of surgery.

Characteristics include:

  • Full-arch rehabilitation with only four implants

Two straight anterior implants and two implants tilted up to 45º in the posterior

  • Immediate Function (fixed provisional bridge)

Ideal for patients who meet the criteria for immediate loading of implants

  • Graftless procedure

Bone grafting is avoided by tilting the posterior implants, utilizing available bone

Why 98% of patients would recommend the All-on-4® treatment concept?

Rapid improvement in quality of life

A fixed full-arch prosthesis on the day of surgery quickly leads to improved patient satisfaction – with regards to function, aesthetics, sense, speech and self-esteem.

Shorter treatment times

Tilting of the posterior implants avoids the need for time consuming bone grafting procedures, while immediate loading shortens time-to-teeth.

Lower costs

The concept is the least costly in comparison with conventional implant treatment modalities of the edentulous and soon-to-be edentulous jaw.
